Ben’s team had another banner day yesterday, putting away their game with a 5-0 win. I was impressed that the team seemed to find a bit of growth this week, with a passing game becoming more evident.
We stuck around for another games. Our neighbors daughter had a game right after ours and we wanted to add our support. They has a little striker named Oscar who’s gunning to be the next soccer superstar. Kid scored something on the order of 10 goals before he was pulled from the game to give the other team a chance. It was pretty amazing to watch, the kid clearly has talent…but little in the way of sportsmanship. He was rather…”vocal” at being pulled.
Still, it was a fun afternoon.
