Working a con is so much different than attending a con. Of course, I knew this going in, having worked many a con before in my time, but never working a con if you know what I mean.

I was there to work, no question. It was the amount of time that went into it that leaves me spent. The amount of time standing, talking, yelling, dealing…the whole package.

I would have had a hell of a good time had Jodi been there at my side while I was doing it all. As it was, I had a couple of good men with me that made it OK. Missed the hell out of my wife, though. Things just aren’t really fun without her.

The thought was I was going use our personal game forums for “blogging” purposes…but it really didn’t materialize.

Then I thought, “OK, I can carry one elsewhere…” and sort of ran out of this thing called Free Time which seems to be more elusive than Slack.

So, I’ll try this one more time. One more…but I’m not promising anything.

Oh, and I leave for Gen Con tomorrow morning…so it’s gonna be a soft launch.
