So apparently, when I get sick now, it packs more of a punch. Lovely. The Good Doctor tells me this in a “I thought I had mentioned that” kind of way. No matter.
Anyway, it’s good to have the new windows and door in. HOPEFULLY this is going to cut heating costs this winter. Jo is still really keen on a wood-burning stove, and I can’t say that I’d disagree at this point. I worry about the baby around something like that, but like his Uncle Rich says, “He’d only touch it once.”
I’ve been playing over on my old LJ a bit this past week…and remember why I left it. I may continue to update it, I dunno. I used to have a small script so I could email the posts in and it would go to both. I want to say LJ broke that for me once they started asking for money.
See, use this space free of charge and have a LOT of control over the environment. With LJ, they want to cripple a lot of things and ask for money so you can have “full function”.
It bothers me as I was an “early adopter” of LJ, and they seem to reward a lot of those folks…save me.

This weekend I “enjoy” another birthday. My family is taking me to the Dells for the weekend and I could not be happier. What do I want for my birthday? To sleep in! A few hours…hey, room service would be cool too, but I’m not gonna be pushy about it.
I’d also like to get in a round of golf, but I think I’d rather play with the boys.
My brother is even coming out with us. Can you imagine that? Should be a good time. I should bring the Munchkin cards just in case.
