I just learned that Johnny Ramone died yesterday afternoon. Five years fighting prostate cancer. Only 55.

Wow. That just is a total downer. Well, I’ve got my black on so I guess I’m officially in mourning as well.
And as you’ll note below, I’ve joined the blogger ranks as well.
Joey died when my boy was just three days old. Now Johnny with my daughter at age 8 mos. Our kids have been truely slighted. And given this trend, I’m afraid to have more lest other CBGB’s alum like Debbie Harry (no! please no!) be next.
