My eyes really started bothering me this afternoon, and my glasses are all busted up. Of course, since it’s Labor Day, the Lens Crafters I usually go to has already closed for the day. My eyes are pretty swollen and painful right now, so there’s no way I’m popping contacts back into them. I have the fonts on the PowerBook set to “hella huge” so I can see them.
It’s…kind of funny when you think about it actually. Great timing on my part, eh?

Your fall allegies kicking in?
Don’t know. The Eldest Boy has had an eye infection for the past week, and last night, my damn eye hurt like hell. Kept waking me up. Seems a bit better this morning, but it’s really annoying.
Goodness, one of my worst days was day two of serving on a jury and realizing as the time went by that I was starting to suffer from pink eye. I told the rest of the jury to avoid me like the plague. And, as if fated, was chosen to be the one alternate juror and sit on my own while they decided on the verdict.
