I mean it’s everywhere! Makes sense, considering that it’s really geared into being a Convention town.
Having some good fun thus far. You always see faces from years past at the Con. These are the folks who inhabit the very backs of your minds that you know exist out there somewhere, and then once a year they become real again.
Played a game of Nobilis last night…and not that I didn’t like it, but it’s a game that takes a particular kind of person to play and to run. I think our GM would have been a brilliant guy to get in on a long term game with, but as a one shot Con game…not so much.
Our first game was a no-show, of course. You get one at every Con, but to have it be your first game puts a really bad taste in your mouth. I understand that all sorts of things can happen to a person, and that there’s more than likely a good reason the GM didn’t show…but come on…30k folks are here to game.
Did get it a nice game of Space Munchkin yesterday.
