SO this guy just left the shop. He got a game a few months ago as a gift, thought it might have been bought here, and wants to return it.
I look at the book knowing he’s got no receipt…and the thing is all tore up to hell.
I tell his flatly, “Even if you had a receipt, I can’t resell this.”
He got really pissy and abusive, spouting off about the “goddamn commies” and everything that was wrong with America…which I apparently represented at just that moment.
After yelling at me a bit more, he turns and says, “Hey, you guys hirin’?”
