I came upon a stretch of the highway that reminded me of New Orleans for some reason. Not the dirty city that I came to loathe, but that part of the South that I came to appreciate.

It didn’t quite make me “homesick”, I’ve gotten far more in a bad way for Boston that I ever have for the Big Easy, but it was a very odd timephase moment that made me forget everything around me and live in the past for just a sec.

For the love of GOD, someone entertain me!!!

…or do a lot of “big” names seem to be having some big conflicts
with GenCon this year?

The site is back.

Anyone else having “Blogger” issues?

You no longer need be “registered” to comment here, but I’d ask that
you leave a name of some sort.

…and feeling somewhat more at ease.

Paulie and Richard have been working their butts off thousands of
miles apart. Quite impressive.

Firefox is simply the best browser I have ever used on any platform.

There’s been a stirring inside of me to try out a Mac once again.

Mind you, I adore their portables, I just can’t stand their desktops any longer.

I have a unique opportunity to score an iBook from where I work, a new one at that, for no real cost to me. Thus, it’s an attractive offer. There’s more to it, of course, but it just gets down to doing a bunch of development work for teh free.

SO yes, it is tempting. Looking at all of the apps that I use on a regular basis, it would not be all so difficult to switch over at this point, with the possible exception of gigs and gigs of files transfer that would have to happen.

Nothing that has to be decided anytime soon, and I’m sure that quite a few of my friends would try to “talk me down” from this idea…still…
