Three cops showed up at mom’s house this morning looking for her and her car. She was out, and now she has to go down to the station to sort “something” out. They would not tell her what was up or why, just that “it would be better for you to come down here”.
Freaky.
I got back to the shop to yet another new hire that I had to “crash train”, only to find that he’s a hell of a decent and nice guy. We had been through so many different duds as of late, it was getting hard to imagine a guy who would want to work for me that was not a fool.
So it meant that I had to deal with some other issues which were…not unpleasant, but things I just didn’t want to have to do. Once more, I have a position of pseudo-responsibility and it falls to me to do some of the dirty work. It’s all part of the process, and it’s not like it’s bad stuff, but stuff that you would avoid if you could.
Other things seem to be zooming along.
I should make sure I update more often.
Sick.
Tired.
Looking forward to doing it all again in two weeks.
I’m a twisted bastard.
Gone to New England for about a week.
Have fun!
While I really like all of the things I can do with Blogger for free,
there’s just a little something missing to it. Not quite sure what it
is, but I’m sure that it will come to me.
Been looking into setting up my own domain for this sort of thing, and
while I’ve found a couple of good plans, I don’t have anything really
“special” in mind…just more of this pointless tripe.
So free vs. $5-$10 a month…hmmm…
Isn’t there a way to create categories for posts in Blogger?
I’ve had Devo’s “Whip It!” stuck in my head all day…
This is pretty cool.
Have I mentioned lately how much I just love games? Just reading them
as expressions of theory and creative ability.
There is a fascinating array of material that I just drink in on a
daily basis, and it makes me wonder where it all comes from.
