I got back to the shop to yet another new hire that I had to “crash train”, only to find that he’s a hell of a decent and nice guy. We had been through so many different duds as of late, it was getting hard to imagine a guy who would want to work for me that was not a fool.
So it meant that I had to deal with some other issues which were…not unpleasant, but things I just didn’t want to have to do. Once more, I have a position of pseudo-responsibility and it falls to me to do some of the dirty work. It’s all part of the process, and it’s not like it’s bad stuff, but stuff that you would avoid if you could.
Other things seem to be zooming along.
I should make sure I update more often.
