This morning I went to do my “morning rounds” with the desktop,
checking email and what have you, when all of the sudden my system
locks up and reboots itself.

Comes back, tells me my nVidia driver is to blame. OK, so I go to update it.

Lockup…reboot.

OK, I go to delete it so it stops.

Lockup…reboot.

OOOOOOK, I try to go directly to the website to…

Lockup…reboot.

*fume*

This goes on for some time, until I trick the system into staying
afloat long enough for me to nuke the old driver, reboot it myself,
then install the updated driver.

I also have the new desktop manager downloaded, but thus far I’m more
interested in the stability of the desktop than new features.

I dislike nVidia…greatly.
