Used to be that I would start to read two books each year at specific times.

Stranger in a Strange Land every year on my birthday and Ulysses every year on Bloomsday.

It occurred to me yesterday that I had neglected both over the past two years.

Today, a day late, I picked up Joyce. If I can finish it by my birthday, I’ll be happy.
